Ex Preventorium

A preventorium (or sanatorium) was a medical facility of Twentyeth Century. In this kind of hospital the attention was focused on the preventive treatments towards specific kinds of diseases, especially tuberculosis. 
Also Galzignano has a preventorium. Now it has been rebuilt and it is used as a nursing home, but you still can admire the big facility walking down the streets of the town.
