Regional Park

Parco Regionale dei Colli Euganei

Euganean Hills Regional Park (or Regional Park of Euganei Hills) is composed of 15 municipalities and its territory has 18.694 hectars. In this area (in the southwest part of Padua) we find the main hills of the fertile Po valley. The highest peak of Euganean Hills (or Euganei Hills) is Mt. Venda (603 meters).
The Park is a very rich territory because every town in it has its own history, art and natural ambients. In this way there is a  union between the culture, the history, the nature and the art of Euganei Hills.
Galzignano Terme is part of the Euganean Hills Regional Park and for this reason it promotes and defends the sustainability, the environmental protection and the art in the town.
There are many interesting areas to visit in the Park and they are all in the 15 municipalities members of this project: Abano Terme, Arquà Petrarca, Baone, Battaglia Terme, Cervarese Santa Croce, Cinto Euganeo, Este, Galzignano Terme, Lozzo Atestino, Monselice, Montegrotto Terme, Rovolon, Teolo, Torreglia and Vo'.
